This classroom tested activity gives students additional coordinate graphing practice. Students will have fun creating their own mystery pictures for classmates to solve, using the first quadrant. It’s Common Core aligned too! This item includes teacher instructions, student instructions, a student recording sheet, and coordinate graphing paper. It also includes a rubric that you may choose to use for grading.

This interactive foldable can be used to help students give 4-sided polygons their most specific name or to help them identify all the possible names of a 4-sided polygon. I have included two options: one foldable that is complete with notes and another blank option, if you would like your students to take their own notes. This game was created to review Common Core Math Standard 5.NBT.3, comparing decimals numbers to the thousandths. This game can be completed in pairs or in groups of three. Materials are included for both types of groups. Your students will have fun spinning a spinner or rolling a die to get the greatest and/or least number in four rounds of face-paced competition! They will practice comparing decimal numbers and won't even know they're learning while they're playing! Included in this product

This is a classroom-tested Valentine's Day activity to reinforce fractions and students love it because they get to use candy! Students will be making fractions and equivalent fractions, as well as adding and subtracting fractions and finding answers in simplest form. There is also an introduction to multiplying fractions to find parts of a whole number. It is Common Core aligned for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. **You need some conversation hearts for this activity!**

COMMON CORE ALIGNED! This is a project to be used around the holiday season. It teaches students the value of a budget in a real-world setting. They will look through sales flyers and use the attached worksheets to record their ideas and shopping lists. They will also make decimal calculations. The file contains a four page document with teacher instructions and worksheets for students to use to record their ideas, calculations, and final shopping list.
