About the store

Currently I am in my 7th year of teaching. I have taught 8th grade math, Honors Algebra, Algebra 1, Statistics, and TCMS (Transition to College Math and Statistics). I am also a Springboard District Endorsed Facilitator.

Teaching style

My goal as a teacher is to create a classroom where students find passion and joy in learning and develop a curiosity to always to seek to learn more. I advocate the use of technology in the classroom and am always looking for different ways to incorporate technology to make math more accessible to my students.

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Financial Mathematics and Statistics from UCSB and a Masters in Teaching from USC.

Additional biographical information

I am currently living in the Greater Los Angeles area with my husband. Becoming a teacher has been my dream since I was 10 years old. I am so thankful to be able to live out my dream every day. Outside of teaching, I enjoy finding great food spots in LA, embroidery, and cooking!
