About the store

Experience

I work as a Learning Specialist with K-5 elementary students. I primarily have experience at schools with low-income families and shoe string budgets. This has encouraged me to create my own resources that are easily printable and inexpensive. TpT allows me to pass along all my resources to other teachers.

Teaching style

I have an affinity toward the gradual release model using humor and visuals to engage students.

My own education history

I have a Masters degree in education with an undergraduate degree in Art and Design.

Additional biographical information

Prior to teaching I was an art director at a design agency. This background experience allows me to create professional pieces that are printable on common school printers. I am always looking for more helpful teaching tools. If you have a suggestion for something you can't teach without, don't hesitate to email me at ryan.hartgerink@gmail.com.
