These flashcards can be used to help teach ASL alphabet and Pictures to demonstrate the handshape when signed (example: B = Boots: when you sign boots, you use the B handshape). It helps to give a visual for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students to learn the alphabet letters and handshapes. *

This PowerPoint can be used when using the ASL Handshape with Sign that represents each letter (example: B = boots because the B handshape is used when making signing boots). You will advance through each slide to choose the correct picture that when signed uses the ASL alphabet handshape shown.

After practicing with the ASL Handshape letter to signed images, the student can practice recognizing each image to ASL alphabet handshapes.

This PowerPoint has information for ADA, IDEA, FAPE, IEP's, 504's, etc. to help students that are Deaf/Hard of Hearing to understand the Laws and Rights they have available as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing individual. It also includes a True/False quiz included after the student and teacher reads and discusses slides 1-12. The teacher can document the students responses for data collection.
