This is a week of lessons and activities to help students learn how to communicate professionally. The unit includes nonverbal communication, email communication, professional phone conversations, leaving a professional voicemail, and creating a resume.

This lesson consists of slides and notes to promote understanding of passive and active listening. The steps of active listening are explored through a scenarios where the students imagine they are a manager at a local business. They must listen to employees and customers in several scenarios to be able to respond well. A template for students to take notes is also included in the lesson.
