Helping Hooligans

After exploring the concept of density. Use this as the "Explain" for the 5E learning model. This will help students further understand what they have learned about density during their labs (density blocks and density column).

In my classroom I like the students to track their progress as we learn the standards. I made a tracking sheet on a four point scale for each of the middle school Next Generation Science Standards. They place a sticker in each box as they progress on each of the standards. Hope this helps you help your students take ownership over their learning.
