About the store
I have taught agriculture in both Tennessee and Kentucky, and enjoyed every minute of it! I have had to run school farms, greenhouses, and shops, so I know how chaotic life for an agriculture teacher can be.
I have taught multiple different courses in the animal science, horticulture science, and agribusiness pathways. This wide variety of course experience has given me the benefit of creating a library of materials for a multitude of different courses within agricultural education.

Small Animal Nutrition/Digestion Study Guide
This is the study guide I used in my Small Animal Science course. It covers monogastric, ruminant, and poultry digestive systems, the purpose of different nutrients, and some basic vocabulary related to animal science. This study guide is very in-depth, and requires the students to draw and label different systems, use a feed label to answer questions, and answer a total of 50 questions.

This was always a fun project to do with my Equine Science class after learning about different types of grasses and weeds! On the last page, I have pasture scenarios. You will need to print these and cut them out then distribute them to the students, but that is the only prep required other than printing the worksheets. You can use these scenarios, or create your own.

This is the quiz I give after teaching my soil science unit in Introduction to Crop Science, Crop Tech, Greenhouse, or any other courses that require a unit related to soil science. There are NO multiple choice questions. There are 20 questions and one bonus question. The questions require short response, matching, calculation, and drawing and labelling diagrams.

Cost to Feed a Horse Worksheet | Equine Science | Agriculture Math
This worksheet includes 3 scenarios where a student is given a horse's name, weight, and feed requirements along with the cost of a 50lb bag of their feed. Students have to perform basic math to calculate things such as how long one bag will last, the cost to feed the horse per day, and the cost to feed the horse for a month. This is an excellent way to assess students performance before giving them the actual quiz or exam so you can identify any short comings and see if there are any specific topics that must be reviewed.

Teaching style
As an agriculture teacher, I have often had to adjust plans on the fly due to dealing with the arrival (or escape) of livestock, unloading semi trailers for the principal, answering the phone for the 137th time of the day, meeting with local supporters, and doing everything that an agriculture teacher is expected to do on top of teaching.
Knowing how dynamic each day can be, I understand the need for materials that are simple to use. Everything I offer requires minimal prep work. Most items can be used in a digital format or printed, so it will work for our lucky 1:1 teachers and our old school paper ones! I even avoid color, since I know being able to use a color printer in a school is like finding a unicorn.
Everything I have is a reflection of my personal style, which requires flexibility. When your day makes a sudden detour, it's nice to have ready-to-use materials available in a pinch.
