This is a task that asks students (in pairs) to examine a French language children's story (I have a collection of them in my classroom) using the passé composé and imparfait. If you do not have children's books available, you could find (or have them find) commonly available stories/fairy tales to work with. It's written as a project with a rubric, but how you use it is up to you!

This is a task that asks students (in groups of 2-3) to examine a movie they know well using the passé composé and imparfait. It's written in great detail so that it can be left as sub plans, but you could also do it during class time. In order for students to have unique movies, I've had them pick them and tell me what movie - but I have found that there are very rarely (if ever) duplicates when I don't take the extra step.

This is from Spanish 2 - it is some guided notes on verbs like gustar (it practices interesar, aburrir, encantar, molestar, importar, and fascinar) as well as sentences with errors for students to correct.
