This is a fill in the blank style notes and independent practice for students. Students will be able to use their probability skills to set up and solve a proportion to answer questions about predictions. All probabilities are independent events. Answer key included.

This is a great way to introduce the concept of slope and y-intercept. I use pattern blocks and talk about how it grows (rate of change/slope) and where you start from (y-intercept). Students color and have a visual representation. Students will also be able to take their pattern and write it as an equation, then use that equation to solve other questions. This is an activity for students to create and share their probability knowledge. There are four different group assignments. Each group is responsible for creating a sample space, use the sample space to find a probability and also answer an experimental probability question. I like students to create a video on an app called flipgrid, however this project can easily be done where students create their work on poster paper. Grading rubric included.

This is a task card activity where students are able to check their work as they go. Students start with any card they want to and solve the question.
