This is a unit I created to start off our 2nd grade year well! I discovered that in grades 1st-3rd, students are really struggling to solve problems on their own. So often they need a teacher or adult to solve the problem for them. I created this problem solving resource to teacher students the proper way to communicate and solve a problem independently. We use this as part of our IB Who We are Unit. Included: -Friendship lesson plan -I-message definition and poster -Compromise poster -Win/Lose

I originally created this journal to help my 2nd grade class keep track of the IB units we were learning. I also found I needed a simple reference guide for them to look at to find meaning for the many IB definitions they learn in the PYP.
