Here is a lesson plan template I've used over the years. I use both Daily 5 and BUILD (math) so that is reflected in the template.

PreK - 6th

English Language Arts, Math

Hooray! for organization! I love (I mean LOVE!) anything I can use to organize my life--calendars, planners, pens... You name it. While in most things I like to catch the wave of technology and use my iDevices and computers for most things... Call me type A... Call me a nerd... I answer to both! So take this organizer and use it with the same joy I created it with!

Teaching style

I believe a well managed classroom is the key to learning! An environment that encourages risk taking is critical to student success. Kids need a safe place to learn and understand the world around them. I believe in freedom with boundaries--show kids how to make wise choices in the small things and they will be successful learners!

I have lived and taught all over the south eastern United States as well as internationally. I love the challenges that teaching overseas brings--but feel my feet firmly planted here in the US--for now. I thrive on feedback so please let me know what you think about my products.
