This file contains a Powerpoint presentation covering the topics of matter, atoms, substances, compounds, elements, mixtures and solutions. Additionally, the file contains a guided notes worksheet that students can fill-in while the material is being presented from Powerpoint. The guided notes allow students to spend time listening and participating in class versus getting bogged down with copying notes. Additionally, these guided notes make a great study tool once they are filled-in.

Changes in Matter...A Video Project gives students the opportunity to display their knowledge of the three states of matter and the phase changes of matter by creating a short video for their classmates to view.
