Plate Tectonics Jeopardy is a Jeopardy review game for sixth through eighth grade students. It includes review for earth's interior, plate tectonics, continental drift, volcanoes and earthquakes. This is a great review to use before a content test, or before achievement assessments. The content aligns with national earth science standards.
This Smart Notebook File contains an entire year of bell ringers (fully editable) with a key. Topics included are: Scientific Inquiry, Lab Tools and Safety, Cells, Rocks and Minerals, Distance and Time, Energy, Matter plus extra bell ringers focusing on Scientific Inquiry. Changes in Matter...A Video Project gives students the opportunity to display their knowledge of the three states of matter and the phase changes of matter by creating a short video for their classmates to view. The project packet includes project guidelines, peer evaluation sheets and a rubric. This video project is fully editable and could be adapted to many different content areas.

This lab uses wooden blocks and clay to model the different types of stress on Earth's crust as well as the different types of faults. Additionally, students are challenged to create different land forms created from stress, such as mountains and valleys. Teaching style
I have a passion for integrating math and science in a hands-on way. I believe that students need to learn in many different ways and I try to differentiate content and skills as much as possible. Additionally, I have a passion for technology and use it to increase student attention and participation.
