About the store
For four years, I worked as a project based and experiential learning guide with the Challenger Learning Center of Northern Nevada. This experience showed me the importance of real-life, imaginative, interactive, and creative methods of learning! From there, I received my Bachelors of Arts in English Literature, with a minor in United States History. I completed my college experience with a Master's of Education degree in Elementary Education. My thesis revolved around the progression of imagination within the learning experience of K-8 students.

Making a City: Creative Uses for Perimeter and Area
"Making a City" is a cross-curricular 5E lesson plan in which students will design and build a 2D city. Concepts of perimeter, area, and conversion as well as city management and needs are discussed. Students will work both individually and in groups to design a well-rounded city with measurable segments.
