This assignment teaches students about nutrition and calorie counting. This is a five-part assignment using the Internet, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Have students to write down what they would order from their favorite restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then students will create an Excel chart and list what they ate. Next students would research the calories for each item. Answer questions from a handout and then write summary of their findings. Includes: lesson plan, rubric
Students enter numbers into Excel and adding in formula to total up income and expenses. Step by step instructions. OPTION: Have your students to create a graph after they finish the statement. EXAMPLE: Your manager asks you to help with a project: a comparative income statement. She wants a comparison of the income and expenses from January through June. In addition, she wants you to determine the net income for the six-month period.
