About the store
This year, I have taken on a new role in my building as our magnet coordinator. In this position, I have gotten the chance to work with many different grade levels as an interventionist. I do guided reading groups with second and third grade, and I co-teach writing and social studies in fifth grade. In the past, I have taught fourth and fifth grade. I love my intermediates, but it has been fun to get to work with the younger kids too!

Weekend Reflection FREE

Every Monday, both of my classes start out with a weekend reflection. I stole this idea from my mentor teacher in student teaching. It allows my students to tell me about their weekends first thing in the morning, and it allows me to see what kind of weekend they had so I can be better prepared to manage them that day. My own education history

For my undergraduate career, I attended the University of Louisville where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music. After graduating, I returned to the University of Louisville where I received my Master of Arts in Teaching. I recently completed my Rank 1 through Bellarmine University.
