About the store
This year, I have taken on a new role in my building as our magnet coordinator. In this position, I have gotten the chance to work with many different grade levels as an interventionist. I do guided reading groups with second and third grade, and I co-teach writing and social studies in fifth grade. In the past, I have taught fourth and fifth grade. I love my intermediates, but it has been fun to get to work with the younger kids too!

This is one of my students’ favorite units. They love learning about different cultures through the Cinderella stories. It is a great way for me to incorporate many of the literary standards we have covered in the year. This unit is aligned to fourth grade content, but it can be adapted to fit the needs for any intermediate classroom.

My own education history
For my undergraduate career, I attended the University of Louisville where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music. After graduating, I returned to the University of Louisville where I received my Master of Arts in Teaching. I recently completed my Rank 1 through Bellarmine University.
