The objective of this activity is to identify the number of syllables in a word. Students will label the picture, clap out the syllables, and identify the number of syllables in each word. Teacher may click on the power point slide and children can watch the correct number spin into view!

This power point presentation can be used in literacy centers, computer centers, or on interactive whiteboards. Students will examine a variety of pictures to spy the focus beginning sound on each page.
