They are black and white so you can print on colored paper (I love Astrobrights!) especially since many teachers only have access to black ink in their classrooms. Dr. Fernandez has taught using English 3D and CollegeBoard’s SpringBoard Pre-AP curriculum, supporting both language development and college-preparatory rigor in secondary classrooms. She currently teaches 8th Grade ELA and Honors ELA using the Collections curriculum, integrating close reading, academic discourse, and standards-aligned writing into daily instruction.
