Change the rhythms 4. Own variation Theme and Variation go on the final copy Final compositions could be photographed and recorded to make a concert slide show of student work. Great way to show off students, engage parents during pre-show warmup, and show the importance of music education.

These classroom rewards coupons go with my class motivation system. Students are given a carnival ticket for different accomplishments and can trade them in for a rewards coupon. I got carnival tickets at the dollar store and gave each student a snack bag with their name on it to hold the tickets. I laminate the rewards tickets so that everything can be reused. Many of my students save up for bigger prizes, especially lunch bunch. Its a major motivator to get beginning instrumentalists to practi

Fish shaped energizers. I cut out, glue together title and directions, and laminate. I then take the fish and place them in a small fish bowl from the craft store. Students can "Choose a Fish" when a break is needed. 20 energizers all quick.
