About the store

Experience

I created this store as an extension of my classroom and my heart. Every resource here has been tested, refined, and improved with real student input. My goal is simple: to support, inspire, and lighten your load by providing ready-to-use, trusted materials so you can focus on what matters most — building relationships, creating meaningful learning experiences, and leading your own classroom adventures.

Teaching style

Since 2008, I’ve been on the biggest adventure — teaching. My journey has taken me through special education and fully inclusive general education classrooms in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. While every year brings something new, my favorite experience is looping with students for two years. The growth that comes from consistency is powerful — deeper relationships, stronger confidence, and meaningful partnerships with families. That second year allows us to move beyond foundations and truly thrive together. I’m a fierce believer in student-led classrooms where agency, leadership, and choice aren’t just buzzwords — they’re part of our daily culture. I’m passionate about developing confident learners who take ownership of their paths and see themselves as capable leaders. I believe students rise to high expectations when learning is relevant, rigorous, and connected to real life. My favorite units are highly engaging, project-based experiences that integrate multiple standards and subjects while maintaining strong academic depth. When students see purpose in their work, their motivation and ownership grow. Beyond my classroom walls, I serve as a teacher leader and lab host, regularly welcoming educators into our room to learn alongside us. I’ve served — and continue to serve — on numerous district and state committees, always working to strengthen the systems that support students and teachers. I hold a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education, with literacy and gifted/talented endorsements. I’m also a proud teacher mentor, walking alongside fellow educators as they grow in their own journeys.

Additional biographical information

My greatest roles are at home. I’m a mom to two — an incredible teenager and a spunky preschooler — and a wife to the most devoted, teacher-supporting husband (you know... the kind that helps you cut out lamination, hangs lights up in your room, is as much a part of your classroom family as you are). Our family thrives on adventure: hiking mountain trails, camping under the stars, fishing, golfing, playing games around the table, and making annual trips to the coast with our favorite people.
