About the store
I have taught for almost 11 years, with Algebra being my favorite subject! I have taught grades 8, 9, and 10, and am currently teaching 9th grade Regular and Pre-AP Algebra 1. I have been on numerous curriculum writing committees covering every level including ESL and RTI. I am involved in many aspects of my school, and I enjoy supporting the AVID program!

This is a set of 8 posters covering linear transformations in function notation intended to help reinforce vocabulary. You could print and laminate each page individually and hang in your classroom, or you could print all the pages to one page and have as a convenient handout for students.

Experience
I have taught for almost 11 years, with Algebra being my favorite subject! I have taught grades 8, 9, and 10, and am currently teaching 9th grade Regular and Pre-AP Algebra 1. I have been on numerous curriculum writing committees covering every level including ESL and RTI. I am involved in many aspects of my school, and I enjoy supporting the AVID program!
Teaching style
I am going into my fifth year of using interactive notebooks with my students and I absolutely love them! Many of my former students have come back telling me that they use them in their upper level math classes. I also make foldable, use cooperative learning strategies and graphic organizers. I use a lot of color and try to get my students to talk and write about math as much as possible. I incorporate technology when it benefits my students, and I encourage them to solve problems using multiple representations.

I live in Texas with my husband and two cats. When I am not creating engaging activities for my students, I am crocheting, gardening, cooking, birding, or binge watching Netflix!
