Help your students prepare for the California State Test Performance Task by guiding them through an engaging practice test. I created this test based on my students' interests. Axolotls seem to be a hit recently. I have included two levels of support, a graphic organizer and sentence frames. This is meant to help students understand how to look at multiple sources and then answer a prompt while citing information from multiple articles. This packet contains mostly writing prompts. The prompts touch on big themes in the novel and key concepts.
