This .zip file consists of two Smart Notebook presentations introducing and explaining subtraction with and without regrouping. I use it for third grade, but it would also be great for teaching second graders or reviewing with fourth graders.
Each lesson includes an explanation, guided practice, and independent practice. Challenge/algebraic questions are included in some lessons. Some lessons include links to appropriate BrainPops.

Experience
I have six years of teaching experience. I taught third grade for one year, second grade for two years, and computer skills to grades prekindergarten through fifth for three years.
Teaching style
I believe that one of the hardest jobs of a teacher is keeping students engaged and motivated. It is rare that you will step inside my classroom and not see us working with the SmartBoard or iPads. Technology is such a major part of students' lives outside the classroom, and one of my main goals is to use it effectively in the classroom!
My own education history
I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's in Curriculum and Instruction.
