Back to School- School Year Time Capsule Printable Packet (Elementary)
Your elementary students will love making their own "time capsule" the first week of school! Students complete the packet the first week, and then look at it at the end of the year to see how much they have changed!
When I do this activity, I have the students roll up the packet and put it inside paper towel rolls to make it more like a real time capsule. After they close up the openings and decorate the outside, I store them in my closet until the end of the year. If you don't have the time or

Teaching style
I believe that one of the hardest jobs of a teacher is keeping students engaged and motivated. It is rare that you will step inside my classroom and not see us working with the SmartBoard or iPads. Technology is such a major part of students' lives outside the classroom, and one of my main goals is to use it effectively in the classroom!
My own education history
I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's in Curriculum and Instruction.
