This worksheet is a small review/walk through on balancing chemical equations for chemistry students. I designed this for GED adult students but it can be used for middle school or high school as well.

This is a simple ratios and proportions activity that pushes students to use proportional reasoning in a real-world situation by modifying a lemonade recipe in four different ways. The second part of the activity involves students bringing in a recipe or finding a recipe online and adjusting it to feed the class.

This is a great tool as an introduction to genetics. There is a section of guided notes where the spaces are numbered so students can more easily follow along, as well as practice with Punnett Squares and a few dihybrid crosses. This slide deck covers: graphing absolute value functions, including tips for interpreting absolute value functions, as well as vertical and horizontal shifts, vertical stretches/compressions, and horizontal stretches/compressions. It also covers how to solve absolute value functions graphically, and graphing the absolute value of a quadratic equation.

This is a great practice worksheet set if you are looking for students to get more practice with word problems handling percents. My goal with this worksheet is for students to discover a variety of ways to solve and practice solving problems that ask for different information, rather than learning one way and repeating. This worksheet goes along with the slides also on my platform.

Although this says 5-7th grade, I have used this with my GED students, with high schoolers, with middle schoolers and so on! It is a good review. This a fun and engaging activity that can be used as a warm-up, exit ticket, or part of a lesson concerning graphing. This product comes with three maze/graphing tasks where students are asked to find their way through the maze and list the coordinate points underneath.

This 4 page packet is a step-by-step process covering pre-algebra skills such as combining like terms, the distributive property, and moving terms to the left nad right in an equation, then moving onto solving equations (including word problems) using these skills. The final part (optional to include) is solving two step equations. All problems are original work and the answer key is included.

Made for 7th grade standards, this lesson is great to review radius, diameter, area and circumference, it also incorporates more detailed word problems.

This set of problems helps students practice finding the missing angle in more simple cases, such as where two angles are given, and in cases where students have to write and solve algebraic expressions to find the measure of the missing angles. Answers are included.
