Interactive Math and Sci

This is a simple ratios and proportions activity that pushes students to use proportional reasoning in a real-world situation by modifying a lemonade recipe in four different ways. The second part of the activity involves students bringing in a recipe or finding a recipe online and adjusting it to feed the class.

Although this says 5-7th grade, I have used this with my GED students, with high schoolers, with middle schoolers and so on! It is a good review. This a fun and engaging activity that can be used as a warm-up, exit ticket, or part of a lesson concerning graphing. This product comes with three maze/graphing tasks where students are asked to find their way through the maze and list the coordinate points underneath.

A simple but effective math introduction survey including questions targeting whether students prefer to learn in small groups, receive recognition in front of others, etc. Great for a beginning of year introduction!
