I have worked as a middle school math teacher as well as a math and science tutor for students ranging from grade 4 to 12. I have also volunteered as a GED tutor and made resources for adult learners! I am a student but I tutor math part time currently. I would appreciate any support :)

This is a great practice worksheet set if you are looking for students to get more practice with word problems handling percents. My goal with this worksheet is for students to discover a variety of ways to solve and practice solving problems that ask for different information, rather than learning one way and repeating. This worksheet goes along with the slides also on my platform.

Teaching style
My philosophy is to empower students to learn by doing. I also think it is important to allow students the freedom to make mistakes, learning can be messy sometimes!
My own education history
My bachelor's degree is in Biology and I have also earned my M.Ed. in Secondary Education with a focus in mathematics.
