Additional biographical information

A few more random facts about me... -I am a DOG LOVER (but advocate for all animals). -I am font obsessed... because my 5th graders completely agree that all of our assignments should be aesthetically pleasing. -I am a triplet and have one other sister who is a teacher. -I am an aspiring runner, *ahem* key word: aspiring. -I am a self-admitted iced tea addict. -I will one day have a blog, when I am better at balancing being a new teacher and the rest of my life. -I believe that one of the best things that I can teach my students is to never take themselves too seriously. One of my all-time favorite quotes is: "Our job is to teach the students we have. Not the ones we would like to have. Not the ones we used to have. Those we have right now.
