Scientific Notation Scavenger Hunt
This space themed activity will have your students converting numbers between scientific notation and standard form. This activity includes 8 space-themed questions, a recording sheet, and an answer key. Students can begin at any problem, answer the question, then find the letter that corresponds to their answer on their answer sheet. When all 8 problems have been solved, students will know the answer to the riddle: What kind of music do planets listen to?

Teaching style
I believe students learn and retain information by practicing. Rather than doing boring worksheets, games and activities stimulate their brains and make them apply what they have learned to a new situation.

I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2006 with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I completed my master's degree in Special Education Leadership and Teaching from College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2011.
