It's the simple things

For the students that just don't seem to be getting it. Sometimes teaching the tricks are the best way for them. These are ideas that I have used throughout my teaching that have actually worked.

Roll the dice or pick a card and double it. Cover the answer with a counter. First to get three in a row wins. Can be played as bingo or tic-tac-toe.
