For students to complete during guided or independent reading of a historical fiction picture book. The questions prompt students in a variety of areas, including power, plot summary, character traits, etc.

These questions are based on the historical fiction book, "Night of the Full Moon" by Gloria Whelan. Chapter comprehension questions are broken into small sheets for Ch. 1-3, 4-5, and 6-7. The theme worksheet is a half sheet which students can complete independently or in a book club group.

Students in book clubs write post-its as they read with questions, comments, predictions, etc. This worksheet is for students in book clubs to complete based upon a post-it they chose to write about. Students write the discussion topic in the box and explicate on the lines below.
