Welcome to Jackson's Historical Cache, where history comes to life! I’m Dr. Wesley Jackson, an experienced U.S. History educator dedicated to providing high-quality resources to students, teachers, and history enthusiasts. My journey as a history teacher has been deeply fulfilling, spanning over a decade in the classroom and beyond.
For 10 years, I served as a High School Advanced Placement (AP) U.S. History teacher, working closely with bright and ambitious students eager to master the complexities of America’s past. In this role, I developed engaging lesson plans, curated challenging study materials, and guided my students to excel in the AP exam while fostering a lifelong appreciation for history.
Three years ago, I transitioned to teaching University-level U.S. History, bringing my expertise to the broader and more diverse higher education academic community. As a University professor, I have refined my teaching strategies to meet the needs of students at varying levels of readiness, crafting compelling courses that bridge the gap between secondary and post-secondary education. I still grade AP Exams every summer.
Throughout my career, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of well-designed educational tools. This passion inspired me to create Jackson's Historical Cache, a resource hub for educators and learners. Here, you’ll find meticulously curated materials grounded in academic rigor and informed by years of classroom experience.
Whether you are a high school teacher preparing students for AP exams, a college instructor seeking supplemental materials, or a history enthusiast eager to deepen your understanding, my store offers resources designed to inspire curiosity and foster a deeper connection to America’s rich historical narrative.
Let’s explore history together—one resource at a time.
