This is a 3-lesson unit on division, featuring my "Bite Method" and "pie analogy". I recommend the "Bite Method" be taught to students who already struggle with traditional Long Division as it reinforces number sense. Combined with the pie/racetrack analogies and Compatible Number theory, teachers are going to see a lot more A-ha moments from their students! I hope you and your students enjoy the fun slides and real-world applications!
