If you use interactive math notebooks or journals, or if you want a fun and engaging alternative to worksheets, this is a great way to start!
With my students, they cut out the title and glue to their journal, and then cut out the squares with the problems and tabs. They glue the tabs (seperated by a thin line so they don't cut it off), and fold them back to create a flap when it is glued down. Then they write the number represented by base ten blocks underneath the flap.
