Included are 15 images of money used throughout the American Civil War era. Included are two bills used by the Federal government and the remaining bills were issued by the Confederacy. These bills can be printed and distributed as classroom currency to support classroom incentives. These are great tokens to use to get students motivated during a Civil War unit and are great substitutes to classroom currency without “breaking the bank” on inaccurate reproductions!!!!

Additional biographical information

Since a young age I always enjoyed history. Other than teaching I always strive to increase my knowledge base through personal research. As a Living Historian I enjoy teaching students young and old about the history of mid-19th century America. I always enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and love to lead demonstrations and historic site/battlefield tours when given the opportunity.
