I used these sheets in introducing types of sentences to my 5th graders. Once again I would allow the kids to partner up in order to allow them to discuss the writing and come to an agreement with their partner. Some of the sentences could be another type depending on the punctuation mark used or the way in which it is said. These made for some lively discussions.

This is an introductory worksheet to get the kids familiar with our country and some of the basic geographical and historical facts pertaining to our country. I hand it out and let the kids work on it together.
