Students will use an online simulation “lemonade stand” to become entrepreneurs, taking risks and changing their production method to increase their profits. After learning about profits, students use their critical thinking skills and proportional reasoning to determine profits. They also analyze if using antibiotics to increase the size and rate at which chickens mature is ethical and financially sound.
