Teaching style

Dr. Jason Singleton is a longtime educator, school leader, and empathy researcher with over 20 years of experience in K–8 and K–12 settings. As the founder of HEARTWIRED LLC, he aims to help schools and educators transition from compliance to connection by integrating empathy into their curriculum, discipline practices, modeling and imprinting practices and leadership development. His doctoral research focuses on how teacher empathy modeling and imprinting influence the transformation of school culture and student belonging. Through HEARTWIRED, Dr. Singleton offers practical tools grounded in research and heart, because he believes every child (and adult) deserves to be seen, heard, and valued.
