My grading policy includes opportunities to correct certain failed assignments for a 70 (not tests or quizzes) and some students' IEPs require such opportunities. Print these slips out on bright paper and staple to any assignment you want a student to correct. I require a parent signature in order to change the grade in my grade book because I want them to know when their child has failed an assignment. This also makes great documentation at meetings.

This is a letter you can send home to parents to let them know about an ice cream sundae party reward. I use this reward for completion of the first unit in the Six Traits writing program, which involves the use of an ice cream sundae graphic organizer.
