There are 2 variations of book recommendation forms included. Students may complete the form to share with peers after they have finished a book. There are 3 sections on each page for the teacher to cut into slips.
Refocus slip to be used for behavior management. The reason there are two on a page is because the student fills out both and the teacher keeps the bottom copy for record. Students complete Slip independently to show that they understand why their behavior was distracting. Top copy can be sent home to be signed by a parent. I used these spelling grids for the entire year. Each 9 weeks I gave my students a new spelling grid.
Each grid includes homework for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and each night has an option of 3 activities for students to complete to practice their spelling words.
This weekly reading log is for students to complete. They write the date, title, author, pages, summary of what was read, and how many minutes. The suggested reading time is 20 minutes per night. The reading log is 2 pages but to be ran 1 page, front and back. Can be completed in class or as homework. There are 5 days included and 1 bonus day.
