I have been teaching for 26 years now. I've taught kindergarten, first, second, third, and fifth grade. I have enjoyed every grade level I've taught. Changing grade levels has been challenging, but I think it has made me a better teacher. Intervention Plan for Struggling Students
A monitoring and intervention plan for struggling students. On the form there is space to write in the areas of need and there is also a checklist of suggestions for support. This form can be used during parent teacher conferences to inform parents of their child's needs and a plan for how to support the child at school and at home.

Reading Strategies Bookmark
A bookmark with thinking strategies for what students should do before, during, and after reading. Students can use these bookmarks as a tool to help them remember what types of thinking work they should be doing as they are reading. They can also use them to guide their conversations around books with their classmates. BA in Liberal Arts and MEd in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Literacy from the University of San Diego.

I live in San Diego with my husband, two children and our dog Rosie. We love to spend time together as a family traveling and going on adventures.
