This is what I gave as a practice quiz. Not your run of the mill fill int the blanks:
It has the following:
know the formula, the verb estar, the endings
translate into English
Translate into Spanish
Change present to present progressive
Look at the picture and describe
Answer questions (personal) (2) on chores
A dictation with the present progressive
I wanted a complete set to work on with the students

I tried and tried to upload the 45 pics in doc format, and they should upload (38 megabytes) but the site kept crashing. So I am doing this piece-meal - which is frustrating, but all in all, you can still get as many as you want in the smaller format that you can enlarge, etc.

-ER VERB WARM-UP ACTIVITY PPT FRENCH
I like to think of this activity as putting the "POWER" back into Powerpoints.
I use these as warmup exercises each day, to focus the students, and to foster oral communication. This is for at least a week's worth of warmup exercises. There are 6 slides, packed with student geared exercises.

BACKWARD DESIGN TEMPLATE (GENERAL) PPT
This is a template in powerpoint format.
This is a GENERAL backward design unit I am using - Could be used for any subject? I think so at this point! I have transitions for the slides, and sounds too. Take any and all out if you wish. I only ask that you don't use my pics for other worksheets (thanks in advance).
I inserted letters in the sentence spaces, and you can simply rewrite whatever you want in the bulleted areas, to make the template really user friendly.

Teaching style
For me t’s all about creating “working “sheets, not worksheets. I try to create activities where the student has to do more of the work, rather than just filling in a quick answer. It really is true to work smarter not harder for the teacher!
I also think that when we talk about skills and skill teaching, it’s more than just memorization and recognition which are skills, but there are other skills: listening, sound recognition, spelling, solving a problem, sharing, information, and more
One example is when I taught vocabulary and grammar surrounding travel, I told the students “you might not remember the French, but I’m gonna teach you how to book a flight, how to plan what you’re going to do on that trip, and how to write a letter if your luggage is lost.” It’s that kind of skill also that I tried to focus on.
