Students look at the pair of clocks and write the time below each one. They have to figure out how many hours/minutes have elapsed from the first clock to the second clock.
Since elapsed time is a difficult concept for young children to grasp I would recommend using this for a small group or student pairs.
Twelve different fact families are included with this download.
Print, cut, and laminate for student use. This can be used as a center to reinforce what has been taught in the classroom.
Updated 3/3/14 to include a blank page to create your own.
Includes 20 word problems for students to analyze and determine what operations (addition/subtraction) to use to solve multistep problems. Geared for second grade, but could be used for those in third who need a little extra help.
This can be used as a math center to practice or review place value concepts.
Print, cut and laminate. Students pick a card and look at the base ten blocks on it. They have to write the number of ones, tens, and hundreds as well as the number in standard form on the answer sheet.

This resource could be used during center time or as a reinforcement to your lesson on money. The problems require the students to use multi-steps to solve. It probably is best suited for late 2nd grade and 3rd grade.
A color as well as black and white version are included. Students can cut and paste the bees on the even or odd beehive. An answer recording sheet is included. There are 30 bees (and 3 blank bees) with a range from 2 to 99.

Common Core 2.NBT.A.2
This activity is great for a math center for additional work on elapsed time. Students will read the problem on the card and determine the elapsed time. The 10 problems included require students to use their understanding of telling time to solve realistic math problems dealing with elapsed time and a basketball theme.
This can be used as a center for students to practice place value to reinforce what was previously taught.
Cut out the pockets and pencils and laminate. You may want to attach the pockets to a file folder so that the pencils can be placed behind the pockets. I have included pockets for ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, and ten thousands. Use the pockets/pencils that are appropriate for your grade level.
A recording sheet is included as well as an answer key and eight blank pencils for you
Addition Train Center math activity. Students choose an addition card and write the problem on their answer sheet. They match the caboose sum to the problem and record their answer.
A completed example is provided on the directions page for the children to refer to when working on this activity.
Common Core: 2.NBT.B.5
Print, cut and laminate cards.
This can be used as a math learning center. Students choose a card and solve the subtraction problem. For a "field goal" they choose from two answer choices and answer a question relating to football. The additional questions are quite simple as you can see in the thumbnail picture.
Geared for second grade, but can be used for review in third. Includes: equal parts; shading to show halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, and eighths; word problem solving; comparing fractions; and writing fractions.
