Designed to accompany Eureka Math Modules, this reference sheet includes key vocabulary and concepts needed to meet the CCSS for Third grade multiplication and division. Commutative and distributive properties included! Tape diagram explanation included. Vocab of factors, product, quotient, with explanations and examples. Edited to include area, perimeter, and basic fractions.

This resource presents students with story problem scenarios allowing them to become familiar with deciding if they need to add or subtract. The problems are not meant to be solved for numerical answers.

Writing numbers to 1,000 takes a long time, but this page will allow students to practice the trickiest spots (going to the next hundred). Great for number sense as students start mid sequence and continue it.

Eureka Module 4/CCSS. Kids need to be able to mentally add or subtract 10 more or less, and 1 more or less. This worksheet clearly separates each task so that kids don't get confused. It could also be easily modified to add additional vocabulary words such as 1 fewer or 10 greater, etc.

Students need to know their addition combinations to ten, period! Here is a useful tool for coloring with two colors to show ways to make ten. Kids then add the equations (written both ways, such as 4+6 and 6+4), then fill out a number bond (10 in the big box, 4 and 6 in the small boxes). I hope you'll find it as useful as I do! As requested, the file now includes adding to 2 thru 10!

These pages provide place value practice for students in writing a number to match a place value picture (box for 100, stick for 10, dot for 1). Then kids can do the opposite and draw a picture to match the number. The next pages are for kids to do both the drawing and picture. This can be a recording page for a game or class activity, or kids can make up their own numbers and corresponding drawings (or the other way around). Use these pages to scaffold teaching multiple ways to add to a number (2-10), or subtract from a number 2-10. This is the master file with all my number bond addition and subtraction pages! My original "making 10 with number bonds", plus new making 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 pages, and subtracting from 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 (not pictured). Students color the circles (red and yellow to match a common math manipulative), then use the coloring to complete the equation and the flipped equation,

Students are to read the numerals aloud to an adult who can record on the corresponding score sheet. Tests numbers 1-60 in random order. The student page could also be used for math center practice.

Fractions can be a tricky concept, and these Fraction Strips or Fraction Equivalence Strips can help kids understand the various ways to make one whole. Tips: Have kids color across the rows so each fraction has it's own color. Next color a quick, unique design on the back to identify whose pieces are whose, without taking the time to write names on every little piece. Cut the strips apart, putting them into a gallon size plastic bag as you go. (The strips 1/3, 1/6, 1/12 could be cut later

Roll two dice, then two more (or the second player can roll). Record, add, and compare which total is higher! A fun way for kids to get addition practice as well as comparing numbers!

Number cards for any activity! Pull two cards out of a bag and compare greater than/less than/equal to. Pull four cards and put them in numerical order. Pull two cards and add (for upper grades). The possibilities are endless! Number cards provided for 1-200. Underlined so students know which way is up at all times.

A sorting game to be used with buttons or other small objects. Students may sort on the sheet, then draw a representation of the items they sorted. Writing is integrated and understanding is solidified as students must explain their rule.

Great for students who have had an introduction to telling time, this worksheet reminds students of the basics, and allows them to apply their knowledge at their individual level. Students add the hands to the clock and write the digital-style time below. If kids are ready for more than the o'clocks, and adding minutes, they can do so with some help and reminder of how to count the minutes.

Eureka Module 4, Lesson 11, or any curriculum and your kids need practice with mentally adding and subtracting tens! Several in each group provide enough practice before switching to the next type of problem.

Pull this page out when your students need some practice with putting numbers in order and using place value. The page gradually gets more difficult as students progress.

Numerous skills are tested or able to be practiced with this set of pages. Counting correctly past 40, comparing using greater than, less than, and the equals symbol, stating numbers one less than and one more than, showing ways to make 10 and 11, numbers in correct order, matching equations to pictures for addition and subtraction, missing addend in several positions, and matching numerals to number words.
