All four worksheets 2D to 3D and 3d-2D Isometric and Orthogonal.

Two of the worksheets give the students *Orthogonal 2D drawings with space is left for students to draw the 3D isometric version of these shapes. Students can also add tone to these drawings. The other two worksheets begin with the 3D Isometric drawings and students have to come up with the three view 2D orthogonal drawings. All four sheets have solutions included. SIMPLE STEP BY STEP Drawing using the 'crating' technique "Group A"

Engagement: Students love the empowerment they experience through developing drawings of products through the Crating process. Included: Six scaffolded products to draw each of which is based on a cube. Skill Development: Students begin from the cube with light lines and gradually break up the form eventually adding darker lines, detail and rendering. Using an isometric grid is a great way to develop these skills which can later be applied to Two Point Perspective! Understanding: An appli

Teaching style

I believe that Engagement is central in what we do and my highest moment in my teaching career was when a year 11 student said to me. "I try harder in your subject than any other and yet I do not think about what Grade I am going to get." I believe that in all areas of education specifying an outcome (like we do with design brief) but leaving freedom for the 'how we get there' creates the highest levels of motivation for students. The other prime motivator is mastery and so to teach skills (with a clear understanding) is also extremely important for engagement
