This presentation is an introduction to the seven elements of music with the purpose of creating common vocabulary for students new to the music classroom. Each element is introduced, defined with a few talking points and a link to youtube videos that further demonstrate or explain each element. Group projects are sometimes difficult to grade without understanding the team dynamic. Students fill out the Project Report when they turn in their final product to allow you a clearer picture of what each person brought 'to the table.'
