County Board of DD Teacher of the Year, 1987; SERRC Nominee for District Teacher of the Year, 1993; Ohio Jennings Scholar in Science Instruction, 2000; Model Classroom for Renaissance Learning, 1999 - 2008; First educator in Ohio to attain Accelerated Math Model Educator, 2001; Commendation from Ohio House of Representatives, recognized as "one of Ohio's finest educators."
