About the store
I have been teaching sixth grade in San Bruno for seven years. For the first six years I was in a self-contained class at Crestmoor Elementary. I moved up to Parkside Middle School and now teach English, History and Genius Hour. I have worked hard to transition both schools to the digital word by implementing online tools for collaboration and communication. I have been a technology leader in the district and have taught various trainings for the teachers in the district. When I am not reading tween novels or building ancient Egyptian temples I can be found using one of several apple devices to find new hand-on lessons for my classes. I am serving my second term as the President of the San Bruno Education Association.

This foldable allows a quick retelling of any story. This will help students summarize stories in a short concise form. I use this for my sixth graders but it would be good for any age. The longer the text the harder it is to shorten it into one sentence. They are also required to cite the text explaining how they know.
