The students start with their game piece (M&M's) on the starting point. The first student will pick a game piece and launch forward to that spot. The student will have to read the word correctly, write it on a white board, scoop the syllables, and mark any welded sounds, bonus letters, or digraphs. If the student does this correct they remain on their space. If they get it incorrect they will have to move back to their previous spot.
